Each of the 24 Art Lesson Modules consists of 6 DVD-based art lessons (for the student) plus supporting lesson plans (for the parent). Each DVD-based lesson shows the materials and workspace layout, provides visual motivational material, teaches the lesson, and shows several other students doing the lesson and displaying their final artwork. Each lesson clarifies the lesson's concepts and objectives, lists the required supplies, and presents detailed procedure consistent with the video-based presentation. Each lesson is designed to enhance creative right-brain development and to achieve process-oriented learning and exceptional artwork independent of the art background of the parent-teacher. Each level teaches a comprehensive age-appropriate curriculum and, taken as a whole, the levels comprise a fully-validated developmental-sequential program for the visual arts. |
